Then there's the 'easy way', with Esko Studio Toolkit for Labels and Illustrator as I posted here
1 - draw an ellipse with the 'Ellipse Tool (L)'
2 - adjust as you wish
3 - go to Window>Esko>Studio Toolkit for Labels>Revolve and Add Labels...

Adjust the color, material and mesh quality.
Add labels if you wish.
Customize your eggs, etc!
